I let my subscription expire a few years ago after having it for 3 years. Will was the editor then. About a year ago, I renewed my subscription. First of all, what happened to Will? Why did he leave? Second, is it me or did the magazine suffer when he left? My subscription expired again and I dont think I'll be renewing it again. I dont think there was one issue I enjoyed.

Will Smith went on to help Tested.com.

Norman Chan followed suit.

I'm okay with it. Will was turning into too much of an Apple fanboy.

I don't think the magazine content has suffered. I think too much of it is available for free on the website... before the mag is on news stands or shipped to subscribers.

If they waited a month or two before posting it I wouldn't feel so ripped off, but I can usually read >50% of the mag before it's in my mailbox.

If they want to convert to a website only, that's fine, but be fresh, and be unique.

I stopped buying the mag for this very reason. Why buy what I can read for free?

Yeah, if there's one thing MaximumPC is known for, it's their slavering over Apple products.

Oh, wait. I mean nVidia products. And Creative products. And Intel products.

Please. If there's one thing this magazine isn't, it's Apple-friendly.

And what does the editor-in-chief do, again? What job duties does he hold?

Right. He's the guy who's in charge of the rest of the editors, who do the actual magazine. So if the editor's that way, it stands to reason that the magazine will be that way, yes?

ok its apparent that you're a n00b and have completely missed the point. I do recall there being a few apple products in the magazine when he was here. He is long gone now but I suppose this is too much for a n00b to understand. Have it your way Sir with your noobi, n00b, n00bishness. I digress.
