What good does it do any of us to review the new P67 chipset motherboards when you can't buy them anywhere? I have been searching newegg for the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe for a week and they say it is currently unavailable. I know why, because of the Intel recall of the chipsets. How about putting in the reviews when we can expect to start seeing these things back in the stores? As far as buying someplace else, I don't want of of the ones with the defective chip, so I'm stuck waiting.

These reviews were written a good while before the problem was known.

I'm sure this will be noted in the "cut, copy, paste".

Also the bug shouldn't effect the review score if the replacement boards are otherwise the same design.

True, but they just linked yesterday to the web review, and they certainly could have made a note on that. I'm not saying that scores are out of line, I'm sure they are correct. But that's like writing a review for a hydrogen cell powered car. I'm sure it's great, but if I can't buy it then it does me no good whatsoever.

You're right. The web review should have been appended.

However, you wrote in the Magazine/Book section so I didn't know that's what you were referring to.

Again though, when the replacement boards hit, barring any changes by the board maker, they should perform the same.
