9-Kick Ass for the Zune HD? Let's not forget it is for playing music first and foremost, and my car GPS makes MP3s sound better. Even if everything else about the Zune was perfect (which lacking an MicroSD slot, wasn't going to happen), the thing should have scored no better than an 8 due to its craptacular sound quality.

B&W MM1. A 10? I just have to find a past issue of MPC which defined a 10 as perfect with no flaws. I don't care if they sound like a $6,000 home theater set up, the admittedly too-short hardwired speakers don't deserve a 10. It's high time Max PC took into account predicted reliability into the Verdicts, in which a hardwired cable-- a perfect point for failure -- would prevent a 10 Verdict.
