I really wanted to follow the instructions and not post this in the Aug thread. And I totally understand the need for ads. My whining concerns the watch ad on page 29. How does this in anyway refer to PC news or information? I mean, the watch can't even play Crysis!!

Although both a PC and a cell phone can be used to tell the time, sometimes we are more than two feet from either, and in those moments, when we absolutely can't be bothered to glance at the PC or fish a phone from a pocket, a watch can truly shine.

Plus it's kinda badass, in an old-people kind of way. Maybe in twenty years kids will view analog wristwatches the same way most of us view pocket watches: archaic but interesting for the novelty value.

Didn't there used to be a complain about the ads thread somewhere in this folder? I thought for sure there was and I think it was started by SuperChip64.

Edit: Aha! Found it, Click Here.

ah, well, I didn't want to necro the previous thread..

@Nedwards when I bought my children their first watches, I purposely got them analog. A child cannot learn to tell time using digital; it makes them lazy. In fact, since my son is a lefty, I went out my way to find him an analog lefty watch.
