Bullbook? Litebook?

Why are you inventing new terms for items that have recognised names like 'netbook'?

Otherwise, I guess the idea is good. Certainly, a section for netbooks would be nice.

Again, though, I question the idea of 'Best of the Best'. Best for what? Asus N10J is by far the best gaming netbook because of its integrated nvidia graphics chip ... while the MSI Wind and its clones are best for people wanting to run OSX.

Best battery life? Best multimedia performance? Best chick magnet? ;)

I agree with everything but the name. If MaxPC likes a laptop a lot, they should put it up in best of the best. But if they like a desktop replacement, someone looking for an ultrathin will be disappointed. I think they should have a desktop-replacement best-of-the-best, a thin and light best, an ultrathin best, a gaming best, and a netbook best.

I still think they need to get someone to periodically update the best of the best (say like weekly or monthly at a set time interval), rather than the current way of doing things. As in, that's what they do at Maximum PC.

Heck if Maximum PC were to hire me to do the dog and that I'd do it. I would guess many other people would do the same as well ;) .

So adding more categories to the best of the best would make it worse, not better.

+1!
I'm sick of getting screwed with slow crappy flash drives! That would be really nice if MaxPC would test these things and root out the slow junk ones. I'd be willing to pay a little more for one that I know won't be slow.
