Maximum PC

I there an index of all of the great utilities that are shipped with the magazine?
If not,....could you create one?

I save all of the CDs that come with the magazine. I remember a utility I would like to use from months ago, but when I go to find it, I have to load each CD and look at the descriptions to find the utility I am looking for. It would be so much easier if there was an index on this site that listed the utility, a short description, and which CD I can find it on. It would be nice to put them in a category too.

This is maximum PC. You know that right? It'd be easier if you didn't load a CD to find .0000000000001% of the stuff you can find from Google if MPC just mentions it? Here, let me warm up a bottle...

I noticed this forum is used very little.After the response to the previous question, it's not hard to figure out why.

If I don't ask Einstein, the formula for relativity. I wonder if his response would've been to find a bottle.

Everybody needs help. I rely on getting help from forums of all types. every now and then you find a forum that can be a bit abusive. It doesn't have to be that way. Knowledge is meant to be shared with all. And on many sites I'm amazed how some responses seem to come from very well-educated programmers trying to help a guy to just get started.

That said, I've also seen you helping people many times on this forum. But I just thought you were a bit harsh on this particular topic. But then everybody hasn't a day. No disrespect meant.

the point is there is no index, and they no longer have a cd with the magazine. why would they waste time indexing past cds, and when they got hit with the layoffs, they only have 4 people left. they do not have time to mess with it and still publish the mag.

That is simply amazing when you look at that magazine. Four people??? That's almost impossible to believe.

Well. We also have an art director. So: five people. And some talented freelancers. Who are also people.

Not all freelancers are people... I should know... I am one and I'm a robot...

Amazing! I know I'm gullible but... I'll take you for your word. Thanks for a great magazine that's loaded with great computer tech. Even tho I'm not a gamer, it's a excellent value.

Even though I miss the CD’s and got a 3 month subscription extension the PC builds are amazing and have given me a lot of good advice over the years.
