Have a new 2001FP running on a 9800Pro 128MB. 1600x1200 at 60hz, with latest ATi drivers.

Is 60hz the recommended configuration?

Also.....the ATi card has SVHS out, can I utilize that with the 2001FP in any way, even though it is not an All in Wonder?

It's S-Video not SVHS, and it's for connecting to standard TVs, or recording devices like VCRs.

save the plug for devices with s-video out. it's a waste to plug the one from the Radeon in there.

i don't really see a point to run the refresh rate any higher.

With LCDs, the refresh rate has no effect at all. LCDs do not refresh like CRTs do. The only reason to adjust that is to make sure the signal coming from your videocard can be read by the LCD. 60Hz is fine.

if you were using a CRT, then nothing below 75Hz is acceptable IMO.
