I've always heard good things about the Rebel, I wish I could afford one lol. 8) The greens are coming out so vibrant, and the white balance seems perfect in every shot *Drooool*

Are the larger pics behind the links the full size images? They look grainy. Great compositions in a few of those shots, and I'm sure at even 12x10 the prints look fantastic.

Some of them might look grainy, like the loon shots. The eagle shots look a lot better imo.

I'm rather surprised that Dal has not jumped on this thread. :)

The Canon 300D is a great camera. I bought a Canon 10D (basically the same camera with more features) for my wife and we love it. Those shots you took are super! Good work!

Thanks!

I was torn over whether to get the 300D or the 10D, and it came down to a need to spend another couple hundred on lenses for the 10D. I'd have needed a short lens to compensate for the 1.6 factor, as well as an intermediate/primary lens.

My favorite-- very artistic shot, very sweet exposure. Did you bracket it or adjust the brightness/gamma?

There's also plenty of depth of field.. what aperture did you use?

Unfortunetly the 300 D was not out when I went shopping for the wife. So the 10D was my solution for her. I also got her the 28-105mm lens. It is a nice lens for the money. Perhaps when we get our house hold goods (just moved to Germany) we can post a few pics for everyone to see. :)
