O.k., This has been frustrating me for awhile and I've finally decided to ask... Where do I connect the HDD LED lead on my A7N8X Deluxe??? I checked my manual and the downloadable manual from Asus. It doesn't say anywhere.
They only list the following leads on the System panel connector: Power LED, Keyboard Lock, Speaker Connector, SMI Lead, ATX Power Switch, Reset SW.
My case has one labeled as HDD LED as I'm sure most cases do, WTF?

On the A7N8X it's called the IDE LED or IDE Activity LED.

Look at page 25 in your manual.

In any case, it's located on the bottom front corner of the mobo where all those other pins are. I'm pretty sure it's etched into the mobo too. On mine there is a round black plastic thing-a-ma-jig and the LED pins are located just above and to the right of it. They are vertical.
