 Post subject: what mobos have pci x?

I want to buy a pci x u320 card....but i havent see nay mobos
with that slot. Can someone tell me what companies have this out
yet?

Pretty much all Mobo's that are going to have PCI-X are going to be workstation or server boards. Like most Dual Xeon and Opteron boards.

Tyan has some really nice ones with dual PCI-X busses. They usually stick all the system peripherals onto 133Mhz PCI-X Bus A and then give you two 133Mhz PCI-X slots on Bus B for your own cards that way the cards you add won't be fighting for bandwidth with the other devices on the system.

I've got an older Tyan board in my workstation, but it only has a single PCI-X bus and it's a slower 100Mhz one. But it's been really reliable the past 18 months.

Coolmanchu died in a horrible beastiality incident. He won't be needing anything else :D He was too busy looking at cat butts to take notice that he was being warned too much for FUWUTI abuse.
I doubt he really wanted a SCSI card for PCI X anyway. He just like to type.

But I hate for this thread to die just because of that. It's still a good question...
