With DSLR cameras and HDTV camcorders readily available, what 'fool-proof' storage solutions would you recommend?

I'm shooting a 30D in RAW so each pic takes up about 12mb (RAW 8mb / JPEG 4mb) and just picked up an HC-3 (probably going to swap for an SR-1) which is about 30gb per four hours recording. Overall, I'm sitting on about 1.5tb of IDE drives storing thousands of photos and video.

I have a Netgear SC-101 box but it isn't what I would call terribly comforting. Burning everything to DVD is a possibility but how long will they last?

I'd easily pay $40/month for a TB of online storage but best I've seen is around $1/gb.

I may have this problem soon as well. I've been looking at this: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/revie ... ator.shtml

I know Belboz99 uses it.

As for where to store the stuff, you might want to look at a Tape Backup Unit. TBUs are designed to hold large amounts of data for a very long period of time. The problem is that they will cost you dearly. It's a tradeoff.
