I have an Nvidia gtx560 along with the Intel hd 4000 that came with my i5 3560 k. I'd like to run a dual monitor setup, using one screen to play guild wars 2 and the other for watching movies, tv, surfing the web etc... Would I be better off running the second monitor off of the nvidia card or the Intel? I'm running windows 8 and I know it has better support for multi monitor use.

Thanks

Typically if you're using a video card, the integrated graphics is disabled. Even if you installed Lucid Virtu, both monitors will have to be plugged into either the integrated graphics or the video card.

In other words, just plug it into the video card.

I'd plug it into the video card, it'll accomplish what you're looking to do. For reference though you do not have to plug it into the video card. For example I'm running a tri-monitor setup on my system. My video card is a GTX 560Ti which can only run two monitors at once. I simply enabled the integrated graphics on my 2500K, hooked the third monitor up and I have no problems at all running other applications on the other two monitors while I have a game running in the main screen.
