Is it possible to capture a VGA video feed from another system outputting to an AMD 4970HD's DVI port? There are some games that don't perform well with DOSBox, so I'm weighing using the hardware the games were originally designed for (this is a general question, so no specific games need to be brought up). I have FRAPs to record the signal on the other computer, and would combine a separately recorded audio feed from a MIDI wavetable card (maybe with Audacity) in an NLE like Premiere or Blender (I'm still looking for a good 4:4:4 1080p recording solution, but that's a side issue).

No, you can't capture using DVI. Video cards are output only devices. Something like http://www.amazon.com/Avertv-Definition ... input+card is the only thing you can use if you want to capture a DVI signal, using an DVI<->HDMI converter.
