Maximum PC

Has anyone used and/or purchased AnyDVD to copy Blu-ray movies on to their PCs?
(I read that MaxPC gave it a thumbs up, so I thought I'd consider it.)

If not, what would be recommended to backup my Blu-rays to my media server. I'm looking to get them onto my WHS box so I can watch in any room in my home without being tied to only the TV.

Are you wanting to compress them, or keep them unaltered?

MakeMKV is free during beta, and will cost $50 for a lifetime subscription when it goes stable.

I use it, and it just works.

Choose the main title and what audio/subtitles you want, and bam, it produces a MKV file.

I bought it before they changed the pricing on it so I got lifetime upgrades. It can get a might bit pricey otherwise. So far when I've used it, it's done swimmingly.
