Hi Guys.

Can you please suggest a good, preferably free, benchmarking software for a new custom PC?

Thank you! :!:

All depends. What do you want to measure? CPU? GPU? Memory? HDD? SSD? Boot times?

I bet all of the above, so the easiest place to start is here even though some of the tools have been updated and their are better options like 3Dmark, PCmark, Furmark, Afterburner, SiSoftware sandra, x264, Cinebench, Memtest, CrystalDiskMark, nnn. But first off, what is your WEI?

Thank you for your reply.

Because of a chassis issue, I haven't been able to assemble the parts. It's quite a high end build-- the parts totalled $4000.

I will be utilizing your suggested software.

Thank you!!! :D

$4 Large! Are your serious? I just shit myself....

Be a gem and help the clean-up by sharing your part spec that makes up this Godzilla build.

Hiya.

I hit the jackpot with a situation that gives me 66% off, so I went very large. (don't ask me why I need 32G of 1866 ram, except that i plan to create a RAM drive. lol!)...

I plug all that you have listed in at newegg and come up with a total cost of $2859 not $4000.
(Of course shipping wasn't included. Nor did I use any MIR's to reduce prices. )

Just a personal observation here, two CD/DVD burners? Personally I would buy one CD/DVD burner and then add a BluRay Burner. (Which is exactly what I do have in mine.)

Add case = $180

check quantities of each item.

uninterruptable power supply = $150

Tax + shipping.

= $4000

$4 Large is a bit silly. Carve off $1K and build this instead, then send me the difference. A small box of $50's is preferred.

$170 - 3570k
$60 - AsRock Pro4 with $50 MicroCenter bundle discount
$34 - 8GB Samsung MV-3V4G3D
$290 - Gigabyte GTX 660Ti OC
$120 - Barracuda 3TB
$130 - Agility 4 256GB
$90 - Seasonic X650
$15 - Samsung 22x DVD Burner Model SH-222
$70 - Fractal Arc Midi

$979
