Ah, shucks...I'm not impressed.

The 5600K looks like the good one at $110 and is still 100W units which isn't fit for a true iTX build. A 3.3Ghz Intel w/ HD2000 is a 95W unit and you get double the processing power. The APU is the focus here and is only on the table if a builder fully intends to never ever put a discrete GPU in the build. Apples to plums though (the 2500K is still $200), then a 55W i3 3225 at 3.3Ghz & HT w/ HD4000 would be better in the CPU area and still not far behind the AMD APU. For those that want a discrete card, the old 65W i3 2100 is still a knee-chewing umpa lumpa to deal with.

I guess I'm trying to figure out what niche AMD is trying to fit into. I surely don't see their APU thrust helping them anywhere but iTX builds and then it's still speculative.
