It's probably not worth it. Even if you could locate a CPU to upgrade it with, it wouldn't likely give that much of a boost. What types of usage are resulting in a slow response?
This laptop is about 3years old? If so the biggest bang for the buck would like be installing an SSD and doing a clean install of Windows 7. Perhaps followed by a RAM upgrade if it doesn't already have at least 4GB of RAM.
