How do I update NVIDIA nForce motherboard drivers? Do I need to uninstall the current one first or install over it? Will I have to reinstall my display driver or other drivers afterwards?

BTW: I'm on Win7 x64.

I have not had any problems with nForce driver installations, other than in the early days when their SATA drivers did not support drives larger than one Terabyte. You should not have to re-install any other drivers after updating the nForce motherboard chipset drivers. Of course, you want to be running the latest drivers on all your devices, like graphics cards. So, after installing the nForce driver update take this opportunity to update any other hardward drivers devices on your computer, especially graphics cards.

I tend to reinstall the Videocard driver after a chipset update as well as a few other component cards.

I personally never use the latest and do not update mine unless I have a problem. When I do update, I install right over the top of the previous ones I am running.
