I am setting up a system with a ASRock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 board and in the UEFI, it says
"We recommend to use Intel Z68 ports (port 0~5) for your bootable devices, this will minimum your boot time and get the best performance. But if you still want to boot from the ASMedia SATA3 controller, please set this item to Yes."
In addition, there are ten SATA ports on the board itself, six are labeled SATA3, and four are labeled SATA2, but in the UEFI, only six storage ports are shown: Sata3_0, SATA3_1, SATA2_2, SATA2_3 SATA2_4 and SATA2_5.
Furthermore, no drives are shown in the UEFI when connected to any of the six SATA ports labeled SATA3 on the motherboard, but all drives show up when connected to any of the ports labeled SATA2 on the board.
Can someone please help be with this confusion?
