'Clocking and Modding is in part about fame. lets face it, if the mod is never seen by anyone but you - what's the point?

So, I have an idea for someone to get a wee bit of Forum fame.

Go collect and compile links to GOOD modding sites. Make catagories:

How To
Parts and Supplies
Forums
Misc and Pics
Members Mods

Please make sure that any commentary is both good and without spelling or factual errors on your part.

I will send a PM to Chams to see if he will sticky and lock it when the time comes.

He may say yes - he may say no - he may say yes with changes. He may say - "thats stupid MantaBase!!"

The price of fame.....
Now, in order for this to work you all have to play nice. I suspect that more than one of you will provide the links on your own. What we want is as complete a list (of useful links) as possible. And anyone that contributes should get credit (myself discluded). That credit should be at the top of the post.

Whoever finally posts it will have editing responsibility - if you don't want that responsibility - don't ask for it - just contribute.

Post your list as replies to this thread for now and we will evolve one that can be reposted and sticky'ed and locked (if chams OKs it).

The OC'ers around here should do the same - but for simplicities sake - start a new thread (someone - anyone?)

I will PM chams in a bit if he doesn't show up in his own.

I will also make my own LN2/CO2 warning post revised from the letter I did in MPC last year (I will actually look up the temps and all). Maybe chams can stick that.

Lastly - I think this is a good idea. Yet, with all ideas there are problems. One might be that we don't want a forum section with the top half filled with stickys. Or, someone may have a better idea. Or my idea may just suk. So reply away.

Got a Mod you have finished? Got an image that is 300-600 pix wide? Want it posted?

PM me you link to an image, Your name (I guess I will have that from the PM), The name of your Mod. It will be posted here. Single image only per mod please.

Manta, this is an Awesome idea and you look like you'll maintain the thread very well. Thanks for the data! BiggPa directed me here when I posted about getting into Modding, and I am very pleased!

Great. You should contribute links when you find them. Even one or two will help. Iwasn't gonna maintain it, but since no one else seesms to want to I will - in return, those that help get credit (Like BiggPA).

another idea...put the list as the first post, then the rules as the second

that way the list will get more exposure

I will do that.

Originally I was thinking something different - but that will work for now.

Thanx

Done :)

And a bump till I get a sticky solution from chams :)

If you want the rules as the second post - you will have to help as you own the second post. I am leaving the country tomarrow (sorta), so if I don't reply soon that is why

You could edit your second post to include the rules and I will deleat the forth post when I return (~10days - mexico authorities willing :) ).

When chams get back we can talk about future improvements. I really think the OC'ers should do the same - but what do I know?

Done.

Turns out I leave in the AM tomarrow. *shrug* I'll get there eventually.
That PSU mod page I added is really good. Pretty detailed and good pics.

Yeah - I put your last one in. I added books and stuff.

Don't ask me to alphabetize :)

We already had a few good comments about it. I might use my second post for a silly "this is what members have said about the MRL" thing. When I am in a more humorus mood of course :)
