Maximum PC

Anyone know of a few good books on SQL programming with MS SQL Server 2008 that is meant for intermediate VB/VS.Net programmers?

All the books I've seen only touch the subject, but are more focused on the VB/VC# language than Databases.
I'm an experienced VS.NET programmer, and need more on integrating SQL databases than I do the core language.

Suggestions? The bookstores and libraries I've been to only have the "basic" guides for beginners, etc. I am pretty fluent in SQL, I just need some guidance on integrating it into web apps and desktop apps.
