Hey all,
This might sound like a stupid question, and perhaps it is, but here goes...
My uncle worked at Bell Labs, and personally knew Dennis Richie, Ken Thompson, and the others who developed UNIX during the 1960's and 1970's.
He said he still has one of the original AT&T 3B processors used for the development of UNIX in a storage unit somewhere.
On the one hand, it's a dinosaur. On the other, it's a potential collector's item, or object of possible historical value.
Would this be worth anything on an auction such as eBay? If so, how much do you think such a thing might fetch?
