Hey, anyone know where I can just get a pack of free ringtones, preferably CC-licensed or whatnot? I know I can make my own, but the Deus Ex and Zelda themes get old, so I was hoping someone knew where I can find a crapload of those generic "beep-beep-be-be-boop" almost MIDI-like ones? Almost everything on Google winds up being Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga dance mixes.

I don't have to "make" ringtones because my phone can use any MP3 as a ringtone. I was just asking because I don't know what sounds use. Like I said, Deus Ex and Zelda get old, and all I can find are trashy pop songs. There's no plain-old lyric-less sound pack I can find.

I've been digging on the ringtones from CyanogenMod. Lots of basic, kind of chirpy, lyric-less tones. You can find the pack at http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/audio-resources.zip.

Thanks for the post I didn't even know that you could make your own ringtone.

I tried making it and it turned out great. I will keep changing the ringtone every once awhile. I love it, thanks.
