Hi, I'm building a NAS machine for 2-3 people to access video files and project files from their own computer. Software used will be After Effects, Premiere, and Cinema 4d. We've been working off External harddrives, using drop box, and transferring files over the network (which has been okay). But, now we need something that is shared storage that we can both access and work off of. We are two people with the occasional additional freelancer, so our needs aren't extravagant.

I have two ideas for builds, but I would like some input.

The first is a computer I already own:

AMD Athlon X2 4050e 2.1GHz Socket AM2 45W Dual-Core
GIGABYTE GA-MA74GM-S2H (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813128328)
Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB
Antec earthwatts EA430 430W

Or, I could purchase something newer, I was thinking:

Intel Celeron G1610 Ivy Bridge 2.6GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819116889

ASRock H77M LGA 1155
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813157303

OCZ Reaper Edition 8GB (I already have this RAM sitting around)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820227541

And, then do a $60 PSU, like a Corsair CX500M or something

The harddrives will probably be 4 WD Reds in RAID 10

I also might go 10 GbE in the future with a NETGEAR Prosafe 8-port switch (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833122529), but I have no idea what network cards would be best to get. I'm assuming they'll be $400-$500, though.

My main question is basically: Will that older computer suit my needs, or should I buy something a little newer?

Please feel free to ask me questions if you need more information.
