I'm looking to build a new desktop for my office, so I don't have to pack/unpack everything every time I go from home to office and back. Trying to keep the costs down
It will generally be used for the basics, Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, browsing, older games (CS / AoE3) which I know a barebones kit would probably do fine, but also I'd like to be able to stream netflix (or local video) on a 55" LCD TV I have and still be able to computer things on a 27" LCD TV. Additionally, I am playing around with some Adobe CS5 programs and editing video.
I'm comfortable with AMD or Intel, but I was thinking AMD is the way to go, I see parody in everything but price. Recommendations on what to get/where (links to deals)? Would prefer to stay under $500, but if that is not possible, as close as possible.
I was thinking this barebones bundle from TigerDirect might work well for me? What do you think? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... u=B69-0778
