DexOnLex sounds like you lost power at best...Hope you didn't get flooded out of the basement?

Actually - I was very lucky - this was the first storm in quite a few where I didn't lose power. And, as I live on the side of a hill, my basement can't flood.

I did however, lose telephones, cable TV, and internet - for days.

There are still many in my area that have not had power restored, and the recent Nor'easter didn't help.

So amazing to see such high numbers!!! It's mind boggling! Makes me wish there was a way to continue doing this from back in the day. I still remember that Wired article like a decade ago. Wish I could find it again. Keep up the good work!!! Ya'll rock!
