We have pop3 email accounts here at work. One guy is constantly getting spammed like mad. He got over 2000 spam mails in one day.

What can I do? SPAM filter software? How effective are they? Which one do you recommend?

we use soap at the office. i think it's real name is spam soap, but we all call it soap now. It works great for us. even keeps the spam email for a set amount of time in case something not spam gets caught in the net.

Truth be told, pop3 spam only means one thing! PORN! Yes, really! Tell him to clean up his act and kick his seedy habit.
