For some reason, Skyrim bored the snot outta me. When I started playing, it felt dated and patently synthetic.

If this is a more visceral, organic-feeling experience, I'm all over it. I believe I already have the first two in my Steam library.

I did play through Skyrim and I did enjoy it but I know exactly what you mean.

I found it to be very mechanical, creatures were bland and boring but most of all repetitive! Even the dragons were super boring (I think later patches have mitigated this somewhat)

I haven't played any of the Dragon Age games and I think the first one might be a bit old for me to invest any time in it these days (time is too precious as it is!). I wonder if this new one is a standalone story or not?

I played Dragon Age game may times. In fact, if I got time nowadays then I must play this game. The reason is its features and creature that shows a perfect figure of professional gaming. I have mac web software in my PC on which this game can be played easily.
