Dropbox team welcomes Endorse aboard
, the San Francisco-based cloud-storage company, has acquired Endorse, creators of a mobile app that offered cash-back deals to buyers supporting particular brands.
Endorse's service shut down on June 19th, advising users they still had until the end of the month to use up any point balances or redeem "Endorse cash." CNET reports Dropbox hasn't yet disclosed whether or not Endorse's service will be rolled up into the cloud storage's umbrella, but it's likely the talent team will simply be assimilated into Dropbox's staff.
There were no particular details leaked regarding the financial details of the transaction, but it is interesting to note that Endorse had previously partnered with companies like General Mills and Pepsico for customer incentives before.
