Hanns G on newegg. yes response time is very important. these monitors sacrifice a lot to get their 4k resolution.

Looking for 4K OLED that have a much higher refresh rate.

Will these models present an input lag like my 1440P IPS display does? Part of me wants to drop back down to a 1080 TN display because the input lag really irks me.

I am having a hard time figuring out how a "monitor" could have an input lag. EDIT Googled it. Display lag is due to DRM or DSP. Who knew? I have never seen this issue measured in a monitor review as far as I know. Is this a TV thing?

Review of a monitor discussing input lag.

Now that I have a 1440 IPS monitor I could never go back to a 1080 TN panel, especially one of those "lagless" models that don't support full color and have to dither to fake many colors.

I didn't realize how crappy my old 1080 monitor was as its "whites" look pretty beige when compared to the whites on the 1440.

Does this monitor still require the funky arrangement of multiple connectors and special GPU tweaks, as other 4k monitors do, to get above 30 Hz @ native res?

Seeing the difference between USD and HKD makes me feel a little better about the sad state of the US dollar ;)

Paul, Have you guys seen this monitor? You had some sort of 4K in house, the ASUS one?

It's good to see that Dell isn't price fixing and still charging outrageous fees for their screens ... oh, wait.

Awesome technology with a mind-blowing price tag. I guess it's not unexpected, and it certainly qualifies as MaximumPC material. We'll all expect 3 of these on the next Dream Machine. Order them and let us know how they perform.

By then there may be something better. Maybe add three of these to the current DM2013 rig as an update.
