Not only played it.. but played it using DSFIX on surface pro and even connected oculus rift to surface which at times was a fun escape from reality.

Yes they stuffed the PC port but someone fixed it but consider the latest next generation consoles basic issues..

NFS Rivals - doesn't allow progressions 75% of time... random cloud issues and over 200 pages of posts on this one issue on EA's support pages page. Imagine not being able to save.. no DSFIX with this!

Car sims on XBONE don't support standard wheels such as G27.

BF4 - bahahaa

So no ones perfect and i'll still buy DS2 for PC.

EA won't get much $$ from me though in future until 6 months of reviewing their support pages so the frustrations won't happen again.

Made an account just to say don't use the fact that the game was a bad port as a reason to never look at the pc version again. Simply taking 5-10 minutes to install Dsfix and an hd texture mod will allow you to have a beautiful 60 fps experience on pc. Dont miss out, freaking great (rage filled) experience!!!

Can't talk about the gameplay, but the graphics on this trailer are not impressive.
Sure, the movie sequence in the fist minute was good, but what looked like in-game footage was quite mediocre. Hopefully it's just because of the low resolution 720p trailer, but textures seemed like they can use a lot of improvement still.

Looked like the sacrifices MMOs make in order to keep dozens of players on the screen in the same time.
Does this game's co-op allow for a lot of players?

If this has real coop and only uses Steam's DRM then I might be interested. Getting the coop to work in any real way in the first game was harder than playing through the game itself.

I think the difficulty was pretty much right on. It offered enough resistance so that you actually felt like you accomplished something when you made it further. As a onebro (including DLC)I can say that it was not too hard.

I will believe it when I see it.

The PC port of the original Dark Souls was so bad that it was literally unplayable. I am not keen on supporting developers who think its ok to treat their customers like that.

It literally was playable...I played it.

they locked your resolution to 1024 x 768. the game is a standard highest difficulty, but coop ruins experience because people cheat. invasion mode the players drop a ton of modded amazing weaonary to spoil your experience.

Ugh, reminds me why I stopped playing online Borderlands coop with random people as they kept infecting my character with the STD of hacked objects.
