I really have wanted to get Glass, but it already has a stigma that keeps me from wanting to wear it if it were only $300. Google keeping at $1500 just pisses me off. They can keep it. It's not worth half that.

A stigma reinforced by seemingly everyone who dons Glass being converted instantly into an aloof, elitist snob. It's not just that Glass invades everyone's privacy, is incredibly obnoxious when used (voice commands, eye rolling) and looks ridiculous on its wearer that gave rise to the term "Glasshole": the things effect an attitude adjustment, and it isn't a positive one.

Pfffft! What Google failed to mention is that the total number of glasses per color maxed out at about 100 units each. No thanks! At $1500 per pair, the only people buying these glasses are the rich and trust fund babies. Google has effectively killed Google Glass before it had a chance to get off the ground. The basic 101 of any business idea is that you MUST make products affordable by the majority of the income bracket - the middle class, which make up about 80% of the working force in America. A perfect example of this is how the PC is dying out and the smart phone and tablet revolution reigns supreme. Why? Because smart phones and tablets are more affordable by the vast majority of the middle class income bracket.

Perhaps Google Glass is meant only for the "elites", those who would take pride in labeling themselves "glassholes" as doing so elevates them above us plebes?
