I want a mechanical gaming keyboard, but I've been addicted to using my Nostromo since the original in the 90's. Since the new models don't seem to have the thumb/space bar button, and cost 2-3x the price now, I guess I better get used to the idea of just a keyboard soon.

Anyone know if any companies still make a gaming keypad for less than $50?

No Cherry MX keys? That's exactly what it needs. What were they thinking? What a miss...

That is the ugliest keyboard I've seen in some time.

How about short-throw, low-profile, illuminated keys with n-key rollover?

Anyone have that?

Corsair keyboards are notorious for key "sticking". It's where the key is not physically down, but it continues to input that key until you press it several times. I used to have a K60 with this issue, they put out a "patch" that they said would fix it, and it never actually fixed it. Instead, when people complained, Corsair acted like children and would insult them.

Also, several friends of mine have had their other keyboards with the same issue. Almost all of us have gotten so sick of it that we went out to get new keyboards.

Buyer beware.
