I was an early adopter of the original Corsair Link. The original has been plagued with problems from the beginning and despite several RMAs and my repeated efforts, I was never able to get it to work correctly. I hope that Corsair has thoroughly tested the Link Mini and it will work as advertised. Given my previous experience, I am a bit skeptical.

According to my understanding, it will control PWM fans. See Corsair's webpage on the Mini for further details.

What good would manually controlling a PWM fan be? Isn't part of their allure that they can control themselves based on temperature?

Its a good idea, and I was excited until I saw that it doesnt offer PWM control at all. All of the fan headers are 3 pin.

on the Corsair Commander Mini has 4 pin headers. PWM I can't comment on but the headers are 4 pin.
