Do you think Corsair might be just a little bit excited about Intel's Sandy Bridge-E launch? The memory maker blitzed the market with a full line of quad-channel DDR3 memory kits this morning, including eight kits under its Vengeance line and an additional four as part of its Dominator family. These memory kits range in capacity from 8GB all the way to 32GB.
"Corsair is proud to support the new 2nd Generation Intel Core i7 processor family for Socket LGA-2011 with a broad range of extreme-performance and high-performance quad channel memory kits," said Thi La , Vice President of Memory Products at Corsair. "These kits are ideal for PC performance enthusiasts, whether they're competitive overclockers, gamers, workstation builders, or they simply want the ability to equip their new system with up to 32GB of reliable, high-performance memory."
Let's break them down. First up are the four Dominator kits, each of which are assembled with tightly screened DRAM and include Corsair's DHX+ heatsink. All Dominator quad-channel kits also support Intel's latest XMP 1.3 profiles. They're available in the following configurations:
The Vengeance line "is built with RAM specially selected for performance potential," which is Corsair's way of saying they're meant to be overclocked. These aggressive looking kits are available in the following configurations:
Corsair didn't provide MSRPs for any of these kits.
