I beg to differ as some would say cooler master cases have supernatural references?? um I would tell them my 690 ii advanced is looking fine without being aggressive it has style but its not in your face like some would believe and cost is great(100$ anyone)compared to a corsair 500r.

Is it me or is it only Corsair who are making cases that don't just scream 16 year old gamer? I got rid of my Antec 902 and replaced it with a white Carbide 500R and it's beautiful.

I can't help but whince when I look at any case from CM or NZXT. I don't want Alienware imitations or horns or any kind of supernatural references built into my cases.

I also dislike the kid gamer look, but then Corsair's design is too plain. At the price Corsair is charging, I expect something a bit more stylish. So I got myself NZXT Source 210 Elite White.

I bought a Silverstone Kublai 04 case. it doesnt scream gamer, but it is practically useful in having a lot of HDD room for $90 on sale.

I'm not a fan of a lot of CM's cases aesthetically, although I like the HAF XB. Corsair isn't the only one making good looking cases though (and they have some ugly ones too, I don't want "military themed" either). Fractal Design makes some really nice ones.

Agreed. I almost went with them for one of my HTPC builds but then I came across SilverStone's selection and it was pretty much love at first site.

When you go to coolermaster-usa.com/microsite/hafstacker/, there is a puzzle. Here is what it looks like when completed.. img46.imageshack.us/img46/4615/44pw.jpg - Unfortunately, nothing magically happens when the puzzle is completed. :-(

Still waiting on my side window for the Cosmos II. Paid way to much for that case...

Umm... I keep seeing people ask it, then I just google and found this.

Its just a clear panel, case sold separately.

I feel that some companies greatly overestimate the amount of attention and intrigue they generate with stuff like this. Although, this opinion may stem from my general dislike of companies that try to hype themselves up with "mystique" and boost sales with "exclusivity" instead of making and marketing a product based on objective facts. IMHO, it's just psychological manipulation and makes me not want to purchase anything from any company that practices this kind of deceit.

Here we are, talking about a case that hasn't been 'revealed' yet. How much talk do you think it would generate had they just dumped it onto the market?

Hey.That_Dude

Yet at the same time there are those companies that create artificial "facts" to make their products seem so much better. Those are even worse than hype because the majority of the customer base doesn't understand what those "facts" represent and just guzzle down the numbers like they mean something.
Biggest offender is DCR or "Dynamic Contrast Ratio."
Hint: division by zero is infinity (which has no defined value and thus you could call it "undefined"). Take the limit. You'll get the same answer everyone else does.
