....and with one timely injury those 50K simulations are out the door!

"Can 50,000 simulations be wrong?"

Fifty thousand times.

In answer to the asked question: Yes. ;)

I agree. Computer simulations can be wrong. But John Madden and the game-rigging refs are rarely ever wrong :P

My program predicted the Cowboys will win, and they're one of the worst teams in the NFL. So much for computer predictions.

for ($i = 1; $i <= 1000000; $i++) {
echo "Cowbows win!";
}

Funny how a crony of the NFL lands an exclusive license to make NFL video games, announces the most rigged up Super Bowl of all time (all the while ignoring the rules and encouraging the fans to ignore blatant cheating), and then somehow his video game manages to accurately predict Super Bowl results.

Not that I'm entirely too disappointed because they're apparently rigging my team to win this year. I'm just pissed that they rigged us to lose last year.

Right! And this past Super Bowl was a complete joke!

Obvious meddling is obvious..

Don't even get me started on that one. That kick return for a TD at the beginning of the second half exemplified the game-rigging bias the refs had the entire game. And then the announcers completely ignored it as though millions of viewers couldn't see the illegal block in every single replay. It's sickening how the NFL makes enough money to pull this stuff off and people still buy into it. And really that makes Wrestling fans better than NFL fans, because at least Wrestling fans can admit the matches are fixed.

And people should care about this...why?

Because according to the only remotely tolerable character in the repulsive (to those with a working Y chromosome) How I Met Your Mother show: "Whether or not a bro cares about sports, a bro cares about sports."
