the game is definitely pretty cool, though the vast majority of the songs biggity biggity blow, I mean man, compared to san andreas the sound track sucks. they have some tupac and Waylon Jennings though, and you can never go wrong with some tupac and Waylon Jennings.

the graphics are REALLY good. i'll play it again on pc if it ever gets released, just to see the difference more power makes.

the other day I was jumping up and down off of the waves on a jet ski, a long ways from the beach, and I had the camera angled straight down toward the water, and a huge shape swam right underneath my jet ski. a freakin' shark was circling me. it literally sent a chill down my spine. that is some serious immersion when seeing a shark can scare you. needless to say I made sure I didn't fall off and got the hell out of there.

Whilst the nay-sayers aren't too far wrong about the graphical qualities, I'm rather impressed with what I'm seeing, in this video at least, with the world they have created/populated. Whilst it might not look as pretty as the soon-to-be-released new X game, I hope that it'll be just as satisfying to wander/cruise/fly around in game and just watch the goings on of the AI - fascinating.
oh, and let's hope they do a decent conversion of it this time.

I can't say that I'm impressed by these graphics. They look alright for a console, I guess, but the low res textures (and half-assed car textures, as every GTA and GTA-clone game seem to have) aren't anything to write home about. The models look rather awkward, especially the light poles and power lines in the beginning.

I'm almost insulted that the video has a 1080 option as we all know that neither console can play most any game, and certainly not this game, at 1080 natively. BTW why doesn't the embedded player have a full screen option?

gta 5 is project they started since gta 4 was released, they realized they wanted to release it at the end of xbox 360 and ps3's life cycle. this project is BIG and took a long time to make. not to mention they didnt cram it onto one disc like most companies do to be cheap.

Simply amazing at the level of detail you can get on a Old PS3/XB360. Just imagine what could be done on a current PC with a single Titan Graphics card if they really wanted to.

Consoles always get the best looking games at the end of their life cycle. I remember the stuff that was coming out for the SNES and The Genesis right before their end. Same with the PS2 when God of War came out. Very impressive. That's the one weakness with PC gaming, we will never get that kind of optimization because the life cycle of the hardware is so low.

That's not fair, our ancient 2005-era video cards (as long as they only have 256 MB of RAM) have now been fully optimized courtesy of the 360 being pushed to its graphical limit.

I think the level of detail is stunning considering the hardware it's running on.

I live near Chicago. Los Santos might as well be Disney World in comparison.

Pretty good, but just wait for it to come out on PC! Then the mods begin!

It's hard to believe this is possible on the current generation of consoles. It would be even more amazing if the PC version were an improvement instead of a port.

Damn looks so real.

If this were shown 13 years earlier, we might've thought this was either live footage or a movie.
