Bad news for anyone who wears glasses. Cannot use the Oculus Rift. And I have to have glasses as I have progressive lens and astigmatism that contacts and surgery simply cannot fix.

The Rift head engineers have repeatedly and consistently claimed that their head set will work with glasses. There are many people on their development staff that have glasses and use the device. Where did you get this information?

I have a rift, and the eyeglass things is still an issue. I'm not saying you can't wear them, but it is not as seamless, or as comfortable as I'd like to game for any amount of time.

This technology isn't reality yet and it's moving too slow. The Oculus Rift will have to be out soon to usher on any of the supporting technology that this story is based on.

VR has been a bandwagon for many many years now and frankly I'm surprised it has taken this long to get to a point where it's basically acceptable technology.
