BullGuard Takes the Collar Off Internet Security Suite 12

The security software breeders at BullGuard just unleashed its latest antivirus software in the form of Internet Security Suite 12. This latest version is said to include a range of improvements and new key features all designed to streamline security for the modern user, and builds on its predecessor's reputation for having a ferocious appetite for malware.

BullGuard's previous security suite put on a show in front of the major independent testing labs and received full certification from AV-Test Labs, an Advanced+ rating with AV-Comparatives, and on overall 9 out of 10 with Virus Bulletin. These are the same three labs we tap into when conducting our own security software reviews.

"We're building on that success with V12," says Claus Villumsen , CTO at BullGuard. "Without compromising the integrity of our core security and protection, we've added new features to maintain the software's accepted position as one of the most comprehensive suites around, as well as improving existing features to make them easier to use and more effective at combating emerging threats."

Parental Controls are now among BullGuard's repertoire of tricks, and so is a new PC Tune Up feature. BullGuard says V12 also ships with an improved scan engine that offers up to 50 percent better performance than before and is more effective at repairing infections, a smarter Firewall with less false positives, and an overhauled user interface.

BullGuard Internet Security 12 is available now . Pricing starts out at $40 for one year of coverage for a single PC and 5GB of online backup. The standard option is $60 for up to three PCs.
