Shame on AMD for ruining that mig.

BF4 has been ruined by a very large amount of day zero hackers. A lot of cheaters reported using aimbots and damage modifiers. Too bad as BF4 is an absolutely gorgeous game that plays as good as it looks. DICE did a great job with this game. There are a few bugs that need to be fixed, and will most likely will be addressed in the first patch. Unfortunately, DICE droppped the ball when they let Punkbuster handle the anti-cheat coding for the game. With that said, Origin and DICE had better get this whole widespread cheating issue under control, or this game is going to die a fast death...at least with the multiplayer mode of the game.

I wonder how many big titles like this will go nowhere ? What an idiot at EA thought that separating from Steam would be a great idea , considering that Steam has 65 mil. user base. If this game was on Steam i would already enjoying it.

I don't play BF4 and I don't use Steam...I'm a MMORPG kind of guy so Steam is kind of useless to me...so I was wondering what the advantages to the gamer are with having BF4 on Steam?

It seems to me that the people who are interested in playing the game won't care. And it seems to me that a whole bunch of those 65 million Steam users aren't remotely interested in BF4.

Friends list for example . I played a lot of Left4Dead games and have extensive friends list. How can i find them on Origin ? Playing BF games alone isn't that much fun .

That's what they make teamspeak and similar programs for. So, you know...you can talk to your friends.

That has got to be the dumbest response to a valid reason I've heard in a long time. I don't personally know maybe 90% of the Steam friends I've acquired over the years and am not willing to fund for a TeamSpeak or Ventrilo server. That said BF3/4 have built in chat you can create from their web interface. It would be helpful to have access to that for Steam friends.

On a side note, I'm an avid steam user and have a great interest in Battlefield. It's my favorite game to play and it's the ONLY game I'm willing to buy through Origin. Any other EA game I simply won't buy because it's not available on Steam.

I'm here to warn everyone about the horrors of Battlefield 4. Attention all gamers, DO NOT BUY BF4! The game is splattered with horrendous grey/blue/orange tint! Just look at the gameplay videos and you'll all know. EA DICE never listens when it comes to the visual aspects of the game.

Sorry I'd have to disagree. I find the visuals in BF4 (I play on Ultra) to be outstanding.

Disagree. It looks fine, though the occlusion isn't perfect. And the game itself feels like a big step up from BF3.

I wonder how long until AMD's money runs out for shenanigans like this...

Depends on if your comp can run BF4 lol

The full release of BF4 is optimised far better than the beta was. With a single GTX 580 and low details settings i'm getting a smooth 200fps. Have to go and turn the details up :)

Any game with settings below "high" is not worth playing.
IMO.

P.S.
And by the way, BF4 introduced another b.s. setting never seen before: resolution scale in video settings. Set it to 25% and enjoy 1000fps with pixels all over the place.
