I run it, it was so much fun seeing that Cat destroying the city. I'm curious how works that comparing games to tested PC, is anyone tested it?
And also Catzilla is on Steam Greenlight, it would be nice to add it to steam library and maybe have that cat/tiger badge on my steam acount!

Norton says the demo isn't safe and won't even allow it on the system. I downloaded the demo from the Catzilla site and Norton pinged it as containing a virus and deleted it the instant it finished downloading. I've had one occasion before where it falsely pinged a file as being malicious, but that was a file I knew I could trust so I restored it. Catzilla, not so much. I'm going to side with Norton on this one and won't be forcing the issue to try the Catzilla benchmark. I'll stick to 3DMark, which I know I can trust.

I bought the advanced version and I'm ok with spending 14 dollars. I only ran the 576P result. A score of 16297 using a NP95770 i7-3820 & 780m gtx single.

sorry a Sager NP9570. I plan on running the bench on higher resolutions in the near future.

BOO MPC: You should have mentioned the download version is just a teaser for paid full resolution versions.

Doesn't matter what the free version does I hate being tricked to fork out money later. Either be free or be paid but don't be "free until you've invested time and effort then we'll try getting into your wallet."

The 1080p version is $3.99. I'd go for it.

Ah, wasn't aware the freebie download is limited to 720p, thanks for pointing that out. I don't think the beta version(s) had that same limitation.

If you want to watch the benchmark without grabbing the download, IGN posted a video of the entire run on YouTube (also limited to 720p).

I tend to agree with you, thanks for pointing that out :-) you've saved me precious time.

Honestly, it's no surprise. I rarely come here anymore as I feel that both the mag and site have declined some in quality. But hey that's just me.

Thanks for the update. Man, what a relief. We were worried you were doing your David Carradine impression but your parents hadn't found you yet... We know how mom just hates to go down into the basement.

Anyway, back to your point, you are correct: it's you.

Have a nice day...somewhere else.

Wha?

I think your mum's calling.

I love maxpc and I wish I could support them better but the site is so packed full of invasive ads that they forced my hand and so I blocked it with an adblock. The magazine is great but it cost money and I refuse to pay for anything if I'll be bombarded with ads... If only there were no ads in the mag and just content... I'd pay double for it.
