I am actually going to get a thinkpad yoga 12.5 inch. What I like about it is the business durability quality also more powerful and fixable then a windows surface which has around a 2 year service cycle the thinkpad should go 3 or even 4 and the thinkpad better to travel with that 12.5 inch screen. 10.6 for surface to small to use all the time would need external monitor to get anything done on that as a stand alone all the time

Looks like we're continuing down the road of "no optical drive" and "no Ethernet port".... At least put the Ethernet port back. Please?

Just add a $13 USB ethernet adapter to your carrying bag. Add this, along with a Micro USB OTG cable, and you'll be all set for whatever you may run into.

From what I've seen only business ultrabooks (Toshiba, Lenovo) have ethernet, standard models forgo it in favour of a thinner body.
