I hope they aren't targeting common users with this.

Sounds cool to me...especially if it's Win8 Pro. Then I can have my Android stuff, my Win8 stuff AND desktop stuff all on one tablet.

Of course, price matters, too.

Why would I want a machine that can do Windows and Android?

How is this going to work? Crap Intel Atom chip and x86 Android; ARM chip w/Android and crap Windows RT?

Either way, it is a sacrifice.

If this is the Ativ Q revised to head off the patent lawsuit it would be Android on a VM of some kind. Unless android in a VM Was the problem. Then we shall see.

The Ativ Q had as much potential as the Thinkpad Helix and the Surface Pro.

Does it play Crisis on the Can in streaming mode?

No?

Then I don't care
Give me what I want

How about Windows that boots to a regular thumbdrive
I'll pay $20 for that....

Where can I get that?

Streaming or no, I'll still pay $20 for that....

A portable copy of Windows would make a great stocking stuffer?

THIS ISN'T WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR!

I'd also like a copy of Windows that is designed to run from a USB drive. I'd like it to be Windows 7 as I'm not touching (lol) Windows 8.

This reminds me, I still haven't really played Crysis due to the DRM. How come those Europeans haven't gotten together with the GOG Europeans to make something happen? By now I'm sure that even my semi-dated hardware could handle the game at 1440 with no issue.

Fiddlesticks!!

And here I was thinking they'd do the INCREDIBLE and finally have halfway decent post-sale support.
