What am I missing here? I don't see the point in this. What does it do exactly? What can you do with it? Can someone explain it to me please?

Doesn't make much sense to me. I would not want anything to do with the Google Drive Space.

Looking for Linux ability with full USB 3.0 hardware support for drives, DVD players, network, etc. and I would be very interested at this price point. I had a Chromebook once and it could be booted to Linux but with hardly any hardware support.

Does it strike anyone as odd that some of the specs seem a little too high end for what amounts to an OS that only runs a web browser?

Why does it need 4GB of DDR3 RAM? USB 3.0 ports? A Core i7?

Yes I know some of these features are optional, but they make no sense to me.

That's if you want to install XBMCButntu or OpenELEC. Trust me, you'll want to.

If it's playing media, then I still don't see a need for the higher end specs. Media was designed from the get go to be as lightweight as possible.
