Gigabyte Osmium Aivia Mechanical Keyboard Review

    Aivia Mechanical Keyboard

Easy on the fingers but not on the wrists

Gigabyte has finally stepped into the mechanical keyboard ring with a fully loaded Cherry MX gaming keyboard named the Osmium. Though the keyboard is stuffed with useful features, it has a few faults that prevent it from taking up permanent residence under our fingertips.

    Phanteks PH-TC90LS Review

    Phanteks PH-TC90LS

    Small and quiet

Almost every CPU cooler we receive nowadays is some massive tower that loves consuming every square-inch of chassis space. Because we’ve been inundated with these hulking behemoths, it’s refreshing to see a low-profile cooler such as Phanteks’ PH-TC90LS. At 3.75x3.75x1.77 inches, this cooler makes the Intel stock cooler look tall and should fit the snuggest of HTPC builds.

Maingear Alpha 24 Super Stock Review

    Maingear Alpha 24

    No retreat, no surrender

We’ve long maintained that no all-in-one could ever satisfy a Maximum PC reader’s primary desktop computing needs because design limitations lead to compromises that impact gaming. To accommodate the space constraints and cooling concerns of these compact systems, AiO designers typically rely on mobile CPUs and GPUs that lack the horsepower needed for maximum performance in games.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC Review

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti OC

Kepler's Swan Song arrives with a GTX badge

Nvidia has been popping out Kepler cards like a circus clown car since the company launched its 6-series GPUs in early 2012, and now we finally reach the bottom of the GTX barrel with the $150 GTX 650 Ti. This card slots in right below the $230 GTX 660 and has less of everything—less CUDA, less memory (and a narrower memory bus width), and less PCB.

    Razer Blade Review

    Razer Blade

Sharp design at a dull price

Gaming laptops tend to push garish, over-the-top designs these days; the second-generation Razer Blade throws these clichéd conventions out the window. The result is a 16.8x10.9x.88-inch minimalist laptop that resembles a large matte-black MacBook Pro. This doesn't mean the Blade looks plain, however. Its alluring green LEDs coupled with its slick LCD trackpad give this Blade a killer edge.

    V3 Traverse

The march of small machines continues

The enthusiast PC market seems to be experiencing a bit of bipolar disorder these days. It’s either represented by massively huge systems so big they blot out the sun, or teeny, tiny boxes that you could slip under your arm and then skateboard to a LAN party.

    Five all-in-one PCs go head-to-head

We know what you’re thinking. Why is Maximum PC dedicating precious time doing another roundup of all-in-one PCs? You’d never buy one of these machines as your primary computer, right? Right. We’d never be satisfied with just an all-in-one, either. But we can’t think of a better second computer.

Intel’s enthusiast platform puts out the heat—here are seven ways to take it off

Intel’s Sandy Bridge-E enthusiast platform brings with it a new Intel socket, and that means new cooler mounting brackets! One nice thing about the X79 chipset: The boards ship with an integrated universal CPU mounting backplate, so no more fiddling around behind the motherboard.

    D-Link DCS-5222L Review

    Build your own 1,000-eyed beast

D-Link’s strategy to get you into its MyDlink IP cameras is quite insidious. First, you buy one of the company’s low-cost cams to look at the baby in the crib. Then, you buy one to point out the front door. Pretty soon, you have a 1,000-eyed beast that would make Orwell envious.

    Azza Genesis 9000 Review

Our love for this feature-packed case runs deep

How do we love thee, Azza Genesis 9000 full-tower case? Let us count the ways. Is it your gorgeous, pearl-white (or charcoal) chassis? The thin, blue or red lit-up lines that adorn your body and provide us with fond memories of the oh-so-delightful Tron: Legacy? The ample space within your interior that allows us to install a motherboard, a kitchen sink, and two power supplies at once? The list continues.
