With Mecha-Intern Chris Zele busy battling new challenger intern Julian-Zilla for desk space, the podcast was left to the gang of five staff editors: Deputy Editor Gordon Mah Ung, Associate Editor Tom McNamara, Online Managing Editor Jimmy Thang, Editor-in-Chief Katherine Stevenson, and podcast host/Senior Editor Josh Norem.
In Episode #204 of the Maximum No BS Podcast, Maximum PC Deputy Editor Gordon Mah Ung strikes back after being on hiatus from episode #203. Joining Gordon on this Podcast are podcast host Senior Editor Josh Norem, Associate Editor Tom McNamara, and intern Chris Zele.
We were busy little bees this time and could only spare three people: host and Senior Editor Josh Norem, Associate Editor Tom McNamara, and legendary intern Chris Zele. Ironically, we spent most of our time jabbering on about Nvidia's newest high-end video card, the GTX 780. We didn't have the MSRP in time for the taping of episode #203 of the Maximum PC No BS Podcast, but you can't let missing things like "facts" stop you from having an opinion!
Now that we have a fifth microphone and a video camera, everybody's in the pool. That's 20% more Maximum PC, at no additional charge! (Shipping and handling fees may apply.) You can watch us interrupt each other on our official Youtube channel, which also has videos of our previous video podcasts, and an assortment of other free amusements to upgrade your Monday to a Funday!
Remember how people were complaining that the year 2000 wasn't really the year 2000 and that 2001 was really the year 2000? Like that debacle, with us never publishing episode 150 of the No BS Podcast, you can similarly consider Episode 201 to be the real 200th episode if you feel inclined.
Tough hardware talk, questions answered, and lots of yelling
We should have become bakers because we're on a roll with these podcasts! (We make no apologies for terrible bread puns).
In No BS podcast #199, host and Editor Josh Norem talk about our $750 PC budget battle with Deputy Editor Gordon Mah Ung, Associate Editor Tom McNamara, and our Intern Chris Zele. Other topics include:
We feel honored that you guys can't get enough of the Maximum PC No BS podcast. We really do. It almost brings a tear to our old wretched eyes...almost. Anyways, we've heard your cries for more podcasts and we're trying our best to deliver. After all, how could we say no to a face like this?
"Could ya'll possibly make an 'all rant edition' podcast this year like there have been in previous years? I liked those episodes of all the rants from the past year cut up into one." – user steven4570
Two podcasts in one month? We share because we care
What's this? A new podcast already? Well, that's just how much we love you. And it gets us out of the salt mine for about an hour and a half. Not that benchmarking GTX Titans all day is a hard-knock life. In No BS podcast episode 196, we rotated in our trusty intern Chris, giving Online Managing Editor Jimmy Thang and Editor-in-Chief Katherine Stevenson some time to plot writing assignments and other devious shenanigans.
