I also purchased a Westinghouse 37" HDTV in mid-2007. It had a strange problem where the backlight would go out, and it was very difficult to get it to come back on (sometimes had to leave the TV off for a long period of time). Westinghouse agreed to fix the problem for me, but *I* had to pay to ship the TV to them. It cost about $75. They would not reimburse me for that charge. It took about two months for me to get the TV back, and it has worked fine ever since. But I still think it's ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $75 for them to fix a manufacturing defect!

Tell them to mail me the old one once they get the part.  I doubt Jeong wants it anymore.  I'd give you mailing address if this was a serious comment.
