Sonos Controller for Android Delayed
We're fans of Sonos' in-home audio solutions, which have consistently scored high marks in our formal reviews. We're also fans of Android, the popular open-source OS from Google. That's why we're stoked Sonos is working on a 'Sonos Controller' app for Android devices, unfortunately it looks like we'll have to wait a little while longer before it drops in the Android Market.
"We know you're anxiously awaiting the Sonos Controller for Android," Andrew Schulert, Vice President, Quality, Sonos, wrote in a forum post. "Unfortunately, testing the app is taking a bit longer than anticipated. The latest addition to our free controller line-up won't arrive until April, but when it does, it is going to rock."
A Sonos Controller app is already available for the iPhone and iPod touch. With it, you have touchscreen access to controlling your "entire Sonos system over your home Wi-Fi network." Barring any more delays, Android users will be able to do the same, come April.

There has been an app called "Andronos" available for quite some time. As a matter of fact the Itouch "official" version looks amazingly like the one for Android.
