I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I liked the open map concept and the graphics were stunning. The ended was suprising, but left an opening for another game. The cutscenes were great too. MaxPC has a point to the whole driving and driving aspect, but I like driving, so it entertained me.

The DLC's for this game a fun too. A must download.

I miss the free-range mode of the first mafia game, atleast I could drive around wreaking havoc without worrying about objectives if I wanted to.

It was a fun game, it had it's moments. Though I'm glad I got it free through a deal with EVGA rather than paying for it as I played through it once and really haven't touched it again.

How does the gameplay (driving/quests/fightiing) differ from the first Mafia?

The story is fairly rushed; the only thing of interest that can be called a plot is the relationship of Vito and Joe. Any time they're not together the story seems to have more than surface interest.

I would knock a few points for inability to continue playing after finishing the game. You have to start over, losing all stuff you purchased in shops, cars, and anything else you got.
